Originally from Indiana, I moved to the Washington, DC metropolitan area after graduating from Northwestern University with a BS degree in Speech Pathology. I then decided to pursue a career in the legal field and while working as a paralegal and raising 3 young children, I obtained my law degree from George Mason University School of Law. After graduation, I worked as a medical malpractice attorney for 10 years, where I recognized the value and trust my clients placed in me, not only for exceeding their expectations in negotiating multi-million dollar settlements but also for thoughtful listening, communicating and being their advocate throughout our relationship. I spent the next 16 years as Associate General Counsel and then Assistant Vice President Claims for a life insurance company, before retiring in 2018 to Southport, NC where my husband, Rick Sprince, and I have owned a home since 2005.
Rick obtained his North Carolina real estate license in 2007 and after working with him as his assistant, I decided to obtain my license so I could join him as a team. I have experienced first-hand that Rick’s clients trust him and appreciate his responsiveness, flexibility, patience and willingness to go above and beyond. In fact, many of our friends were clients. We don’t believe in high pressure sales practices and we don’t promise something we can’t deliver. I strive for honesty and integrity along with determination and dedication in both my personal and professional life and I have a proven record of positively impacting my clients’ financial success by applying my communication, analytical and negotiation skills. Whether buying or selling a home, we recognize that it is important that we listen, educate and ensure that we are alongside you every step of the way. Rick’s real estate and sales experience combined with my experience with strategizing and negotiating give us a competitive edge to obtain the best possible results for you.
